MNIT MMB supports critical business operations for the State of Minnesota, including enterprise human resources and payroll, state employee insurance, and benefits administration. The team also provides the technical expertise necessary to manage the state budget and provide economic forecasts to policymakers.

Job Summary

The Application Security Analyst will a dminister online security access to the statewide systems to ensure access to these systems is limited to authorized users. Provide guidance and troubleshoot problems for central (MMB and Administration Materials Management) and other state agency staff who are self-service and administrative users of MMB systems. Assist in developing and administering security policies, processes, and procedures.

This position is currently eligible for full-time telework:

Telework for Minnesota IT Services allows an employee to perform work from a telework location and an employee may be required to be in the office based on business needs and other dependencies in St. Paul, Minnesota.Only candidates located in Minnesota and bordering states (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin) are telework eligible.Qualifications

Position requires a minimum of three (3) years of IT related experience in providing application security for a PeopleSoft accounting/procurement or HR/payroll system.

Experience must include:

• Knowledge of and experience with PeopleSoft Administration.

• Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.

• Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.

A master's degree in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR an IT related bachelor's degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR an IT related associate's degree substitutes for one (1) year.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.Knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft security.Knowledge and experience with mainframe ACF2 security.Proven risk assessment and mitigation skills.RBAC and Access Control solutions for Oracle and non-Oracle technologies.Knowledge of Information Security audit and assessment methodologies, policystandards, procedures, and best practices.Ability to communicate and traintechnical issues to non-technical employees.Familiarity with state accounting, procurement, payroll, human resource and benefits policies and procedures.A working knowledge of or direct experience with administering security for MMB's Statewide Systems, SWIFT and/or SEMA4.Additional Requirements
