Community Health Centers is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our Riverside practice location in Burlington! This position will provide outpatient psychiatric medical services and medication management to CHCB patients. The Psychiatrist renders services that reflect current standards of medical care appropriate to the local medical community.
Provides outpatient mental health services and appropriate follow-upProvides consultation and case discussions to primary care providers to support psychiatric care within the primary care settingProvides clinical supervision for nursing staff as assigned for triage, medication refills, referrals and nursing services visitsProvides appropriate teaching to trainees such as medical students, resident physicians, nurse practitioner students, and nursing studentsCoordination, documentation, and continuity of care for risk managementParticipates in quality assurance and quality improvement effortsBasic Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of residency training programLicensure and Certification Requirements:
CPR certification.License to practice medicine in State of VermontBoard certification or board eligible in PsychiatrySuccessful credentialing and privileging by CHC and applicable insurance companies
Compensation commensurate with direct experience within the range of
$200,070 - $244,530 annually.
