Summary:The Material Management Manager is responsible for their entire procedural area. This role may require the supervision of inventory analysts or techs. The responsibilities include processing all routine and special supply requests specific for use in the assigned areas of responsibility, to include all consignment, evaluation, and direct purchase supplies. As dictated by role and hospital area, may assume unique procedural area responsibility such as bill-only PO's, tissue tracking, new product requests, revenue/charge capture and CM Navigator entries. The position is responsible for managing and maintaining appropriate inventory levels, official and unofficial, and providing analyses of same, when requested. Excellent computer, analytical, and presentation skills are necessary.Access to patient information may be needed to fulfill the responsibilities of this role. Adherence to confidentiality policies and practices is required.
Requirements:Minimum High School diploma - 2-5 years' experience with healthcare supplies and inventory management/control2 to 4 year college degree preferredExcellent comprehension of computer-based inventory control. Must be cooperative and work well with staff at all levels. Must present a professional and friendly image to the public, medical staff, and employees.
Licenses and Certifications:Valid and Active Driver's license
