QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to work unique hours - days, nights, weekends, and possibly holidays. * Ability to work well with diverse employee groups. * Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English. * Ability to lift and carry loads approximately 75 lbs. * Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment. * Knowledge of working with hand tools, scrubbing machines and pallet jacks. * Clear and valid Texas driver's license preferred. * Ability to work in a setting requiring frequent walking, standing, climbing, stooping, heavy lifting and carrying. * Ability to work in a setting working outside and indoors on slippery or uneven walking surfaces and ladders. * Ability to work in a setting with exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, cleaning chemicals and materials.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Annual Contract: 260 days
SALARY:
$13.52/HS-3
Additional $1.00 per hour flex pay will be added to salary
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2022-2023
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Remove trash from assigned areas and dispose in compliance with approved guidelines. * Maintain a cleaning schedule that will include all areas of the Mark Henry Ad min Bldg. and VPAC (floors, balcony's, wastebaskets, windows, furniture, rugs, equipment, high dusting, and restrooms). * Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo all carpet as directed. * Sweep, mop, scrub, strips, and refinish and buff hard surface floors as directed. * Provide set up and tear down of furniture as needed for all special events and meetings to include (chairs, tables, carts, and staging). * Disinfect an accordance with operations policies and procedures. * Keep building and grounds, including sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and lake trail neat and clean. * Follow established procedures for locking, checking and safeguarding facilities. * Inspect machines and equipment for safety and efficiency. * Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures. * Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately. * Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, and using * Open and close building as directed. * Assist in maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and request additional supplies as needed.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Must be able to work outside in all seasons.
Must be available to work different schedules or shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays subject to 24-hour responsibility. Must maintain emotional control under stress. Possess ability to work alone, to keep information confidential and able to drive a district vehicle.
