TravelPrimary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected;Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care;Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals;Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department;Assists physicians during examinations and procedures;Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse;Performs a variety of tasks;Communicate and educate patients and families;Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team;Carries out physician orders;Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs;Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required;Monitors, records and communicates patient condition;Assesses, and plans for the care of assigned patients.Certifications:BCLSTalent Healthcare Staffing Inc Job ID #2690758.
