**Job Description:**
- Provide care for adult to geriatric patients in a telemetry unit.- Manage patients with diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-catheterization), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues.- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4-5 within a unit with 36 rooms and an average daily census of 35.- Utilize systems including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR for patient care management.- Adhere to required compliance procedures to ensure an on-time start.- Work every other weekend and be available for floating if necessary.- Expected to work specific holidays based on assignment duration.- Wear scrub color: Navy Blue.- Complete a 13-hour orientation before starting.- Full compliance is required prior to the start of the assignment; any delay in compliance may result in a start date push-back due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
