We are looking for an experienced RN Manager to oversee our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Same Day Surgery (SDS) departments. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to provide strategic leadership and direction for these critical areas of our healthcare facility. The RN Manager will be instrumental in ensuring the highest level of patient care, employee performance, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:1. Supervise and manage all aspects of the PACU and SDS departments, including patient care, staff performance, and operational efficiency.2. Develop and implement policies and procedures that contribute to the improvement of patient care and staff performance.3. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as adherence to facility policies and procedures.4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and effective patient care.5. Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to improve performance and enhance patient care.6. Participate in budget preparation and monitor departmental expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility.7. Facilitate the recruitment, hiring, training, and retention of competent nursing staff.8. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards, and complying with legal regulations.9. Stay informed about advances in nursing management and patient care, and implement new strategies to improve our services.Qualifications:1. Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.2. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a focus on PACU and/or SDS.3. Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting.4. Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures, including PACU and SDS.5. In-depth knowledge of hospital procedures, KPIs, and performance metrics.6. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and medical terminologies.7. Exceptional leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team of healthcare professionals.8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach.9. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.10.
