90% FTE, evening/night shift rotation, one in three weekend rotation. Hours are based off operational needs of the department. Be a front-line nursing leader for the Cardiology IMC and General Care Unit to ensure optimum patient care, efficient operations, quality service and sound financial management.
We are seeking a
Care Team Leader (CTL) / Charge Nurse :Direct and lead nursing staff to ensure optimum patient care, efficient operations, quality service and sound financial management.Facilitate and participate in daily interprofessional rounds.Continuously assess unit needs by ensuring adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts.Mentor others to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills.At UW Health, you will have

Baccalaureate degree in nursing PreferredWork Experience
2 years experience in an inpatient unit Required2 years of combined work experience and leadership experience may be considered in lieu of two (2) years' experience in an inpatient unit Required3 years experience in an acute care inpatient unit PreferredRelevant RN experience with department-specific patient population PreferredLicenses & Certifications
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact RequiredCurrent CPR/BLS certification RequiredCardiology- ACLS within 180 Days Required
