The Manager, Market Research DARZALEX and Multiple Myeloma Portfolio position is responsible for generating, integrating, and translating insights from primary market research into growth opportunities that shape decisions and drive organizational action for the Imbruvica brand within the Oncology Business Unit. This position will partner closely with cross functional brand partners and serves as an internal consultant to the Sales & Marketing team and senior leaders. This position plays a leading role in advising and counseling management in the development and evaluation of new and existing business strategies and tactics and as a result, shares accountability for business results.
Responsibilities include:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of quantitative & qualitative primary research across health care professionals, patients, and payers including developmental research (e.g. product / patient/ attitudinal segmentation, etc.,) and evaluative research (brand positioning, advertising & promotional copy, etc.,) across DARZALEX and the Multiple Myeloma Portfolio
Define key business questions and objectives into appropriate primary research methods, implement optimal research / analytic approaches, identify appropriate supplier partners, foster strong partnerships in the context of resources, design research questionnaires and moderator guides, manage timelines and overall project goals. Translate customer learnings into actionable recommendations based on key insights.
Provide strategic guidance through research and analytics to business plans, sales & brand strategies, and life cycle management. Serve as a trusted advisor by conducting objective research and analyses that uncover findings and insights across multiple data sets and market research, to enable organizational decision making and action
Champion the development and implementation of research and analytical approaches and methods that are innovative and examples of best practices. Act with speed, agility and accountability, while demonstrating the leadership to ensure time is spent on the most critical/ high value projects
Apply consulting skills, including consultative listening, problem definition, hypothesis generation, data analysis, translation to value, and oral and written presentation for impact. Apply strength in storytelling and data visualizations to deliver effective presentations to senior management
Demonstrate intellectual curiosity to stay abreast of emerging healthcare & pharmaceutical industry trends and assess their potential impact on our franchise business strategies. Foster strong learning agility, elevating analytical skills to adopt to new techniques/technology.
Take personal accountability for making Credo-based decisions and fostering a Credo-based culture
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum of BA/BS is required, advanced degree preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience required in market research, business intelligence, marketing, sales, finance, business analytics, strategic planning, or management consulting
Expertise with all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is required
Business/market experience and industry knowledge to influence brand level decisions and strategies are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in storytelling, data visualization and developing effective presentations.
Ability to work collaboratively across Strategic Insights & Analytics Team, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional partners.
Strong project management skills
Self-motivation and high degree of intellectual curiosity
Preferred:
Oncology experience is preferred
Other:
This position is based in Horsham, PA on a hybrid in-office schedule and will require up to 5% domestic travel.
