Overview

GCG Automation & Factory Solutions Supplier Relations team is currently seeking a dynamic, results-drivenVendor Strategy Specialist to manage our vendor rebate programs, including but not limited to Siemens Market Builder Program.

As our Vendor Strategy Specialist, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our vendor partnerships, particularly with industry leaders like Siemens. This position offers exposure to strategic planning while maintaining hands-on involvement in program execution. You'll have the opportunity to:

Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across major vendor organizations

Develop expertise in complex partner programs and incentive structures

Drive innovation in how we approach vendor collaboration and program optimization

This position offers a hybrid work schedule upon completion of training however candidates must be within a reasonable drive of our office in Miamisburg, OH.

What you’ll do

Vendor Management and Strategic Planning

Develop and execute strategies to expand market share and drive revenue growth through our partnerships with key vendors, including Siemens

Align on annual Go-To-Market plans and identify new opportunities

Participate in annual and quarterly business planning activities with our vendors

Relationship Management

Serve as the primary liaison between our company and key vendors, fostering a strong, collaborative partnership

Coordinate customer and employee trainings and events

Manage and follow up on leads using Salesforce and partner collaboration sites

Program Performance and Analytics

Oversee and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Market Builder Program, including sales revenue targets, certification progress, and exclusivity status

Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly program reports to leadership, highlighting trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

Monitor and ensure compliance with tiered pricing policies

Incentive and Rebate Management

Manage co-op funding, including balance oversight, reimbursement processes, and identifying expansion opportunities

Monitor and report on quarterly stock rotation opportunities

Optimize participation in marketing programs to secure maximum payouts

What you’ll bring

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

5+ years of experience in vendor management, channel partnerships, or similar roles in the technology or industrial sectors

Proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex program metrics and translate data into actionable insights

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems

Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and visualization

Experience with rebate program management and optimization (preferred)
