Fann Contracting, Inc - Northern Arizona’s leading heavy-civil and heavy-highway contractor - is searching for an experienced ESTIMATING ADMINISTRATOR to join our team! Our family-owned company of nearly 65 years specializes in mass excavation, rock handling, underground utilities, private and public infrastructure, asphalt paving, aggregate crushing, mobile asphalt production, and much more. We work with a range of public and private entities, including ADOT, FHWA, BIA, city and county municipalities, as well as private residential and commercial developments.
The Estimating Administrator position is critical in supporting our Estimating Department throughout the entire bidding process and assisting in transitioning successful bids into projects.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to researching new bid opportunities, reviewing plans and specifications, and setting up bids in HCSS HeavyBid Software. You will solicit Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and coordinate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers while supporting estimating staff throughout the bid process. Managing bid requirements and ensuring successful submissions to various agencies is essential, along with processing successful bids with owner agencies and in-house staff. Additionally, you will assist with Alternative Delivery proposals, maintain project insurance certificates, prepare in-house project files, keep estimating documentation updated, and manage internal file processes.
