Job Description
Performs routine production assembly operations on Boeing aircraft.
Responsibilities
Perform
assembly, installation, and rework
of structural and mechanical components, including routing wire harnesses, building connectors, crimping, and terminating wires according to blueprint and engineering specifications.
Select and use appropriate materials, tools, and hardware
, ensuring correct parts are used and following procedures for shim installation, alignment, fitting, and fastening during assembly.
Identify and report issues
such as defects in materials, parts, or assembly procedures; perform repairs, functional checks, and incorporate authorized changes as directed by the Lead.
Essential Skills
1+ years of experience
following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, and working with aircraft structural parts fabrication and assembly processes.
Proficient with
precision tools
(lathe, milling, pneumatic, and hand tools) and experienced with systems like hydraulic, ICS, PECS, duct installation, and waste/ potable water systems.
Ability to work
variable shifts
and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods, working in confined spaces, and overhead work; basic proficiency in computer systems and software applications.
Work Environment
Work within large teams
Typical shift times are 5:30am-2pm, 2:30pm-11pm, and 11pm-6am.
The role requires frequent standing, balancing, and occasional climbing.
A clean, neat, organized, and FOD-free work area must be maintained at all times.
