If this sounds like you, we'd love for you to consider joining our team.ABOUT THE POSITIONWe are seeking an Entry-Level Paint Mix Technician to join our team! While prior experience mixing automotive finishes is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate. In this role, you'll be responsible for mixing automotive refinishing materials according to precise supplier formulas, ensuring accurate measurements and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position also involves inventory management, warehouse duties, and adherence to safety standards. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision are key to success.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMix refinish materials as directed by paint supplier formulas.Accurately assemble ingredients and measurements to create specific products using scales.Lift and maneuver pints, quarts, gallons, 5-gallon buckets of paint, and 50-gallon drums of resin, utilizing provided tools.Maintain inventory, track supplies, and assist with warehouse organization.Follow all safety protocols and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves and masks.Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.Assist with receiving, stocking products, operating a forklift, preparing customer orders, and performing inventory cycle counting.BENEFITSBenefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision & FSA401(k) with employer match, & Profit SharingPTO and paid holidaysLife and Disability insuranceEmployee DiscountsEducational Assistance PrograMHOW WE PAINT THE WORLD OF BUSINESSSince 1958, Industrial Finishes & Systems, Inc. has been a leading distributor of paint, equipment, and supplies.
