Founded in 2014 at Stanford University, Halo received significant funding in 2024, paving the way for rapid expansion, strategic customer engagement, and the launch of volume manufacturing.The OpportunityAs the Production Planning & Operations Support Manager at Halo Industries, you will play a critical role in advancing our manufacturing capabilities and operational readiness. This position focuses on hands-on production planning, supply chain management, safety, and operations support to ensure efficient, high-quality output on Halo's pilot and volume manufacturing lines. While this is a manager role, our small, fast-growing environment requires someone ready to be deeply engaged in daily operations as well as strategic planning. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and IT teams to streamline processes, integrate ERP, MRP, and MES systems, and support Halo's mission of delivering top-tier semiconductor products.Requirements Lead production planning efforts to align with Halo's operational and strategic objectives, ensuring efficient and effective production processes. Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring leadership alignment and plan approval to meet production and business goals. Evaluate potential capacity and working capital scenarios to inform and support current business decisions. Manage supply chain coordination, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to support production needs. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate ERP, MES, and MRP systems, ensuring they meet both immediate operational requirements and long-term scalability needs. Engage directly with production teams to identify bottlenecks and implement immediate, hands-on process improvements for increased efficiency. Develop and execute tactical and strategic operational plans to scale production capabilities and transition from pilot line operations to full-scale manufacturing. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations support team, actively participating in daily operations to support team goals and drive continuous improvement. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or operations support, within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry. Proven experience in ERP, MRP and MES implementation, system integration and handling transactions. Strong leadership skills with a background in managing and developing cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement effective solutions. Knowledge of industry safety and compliance standards, with experience managing regulatory adherence. A hands-on, proactive approach suited to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
