SAIC is seeking an
Agile DevSecOps Coach
to fill a critical position on the LANDMARK AOS program in Chantilly, VA. LANDMARK AOS is SAIC’s Prime SETA program, supporting the customer’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.
As the
Agile DevSecOps Coach
, you will collaborate with government and contractor staff to identify customer needs, develop vision, roadmap, and features, and maintain an Agile backlog using Jira and Confluence. You will also provide guidance on DevSecOps practices, build relationships to incorporate security into design, and define maturity models for Agile and DevSecOps adoption.
Responsibilities to Include:
Develop Agile best practices, ensuring consistency in team dashboards and tools, and lead release planning events to set goals and update roadmaps.
Facilitate Agile cadences like stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinements, while coordinating with stakeholders to optimize value delivery and continuous improvement.
Monitor team health, ensuring commitments, pace, and quality align with release goals, and guide teams with Agile techniques, adjusting as needed.
Identify system engineering risks and opportunities, assist in developing release strategies, and support product owners in gathering data for new features.
Drive roadmap execution through regular discussions on priorities, ensure tracking of Agile metrics, and support collaboration with government leadership.
Facilitate team dynamics, partner on process improvements, model servant leadership, and support onboarding and training of new team members.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar STEM field and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a CI Poly.
3+ years of experience implementing and refining Agile methodologies and practices.
2 + years of experience with DevSecOps and tools.
2+ years’ experience working within the IC.
Proficient in systems development methodologies, including Agile and DevSecOps.
Experienced in CONOPS requirements development, interface control documentation, technical specification review, and architecture development.
Skilled in supporting teams on DevSecOps practices such as pipelines, collaboration, Test-Driven Development (TTD), and CI/CD.
Proficient in Agile project management tools like Jira.
Certified Scrum Master, Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, Agile Coach, or similar.
Experienced in facilitating large sessions or events, such as release planning.
Knowledgeable in Agile frameworks (SAFe, etc.).
Proven ability to work with senior leadership, effectively communicating and influencing decisions to implement sound Agile practices.
Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills, adept at conveying information across diverse audiences.
