Summary

The Manager-Clinical Education provides in-depth knowledge and accountability for the clinical education of our nursing and non-RN clinical staff. The position assists the System Director of Clinical Education to strategically promote education and development of the direct care providers to enhance the quality of care to patients. Provides day to day management of clinical educators across ministries in the assigned geographical area. Ensures alignment of system standards and expectations around clinical practice planning, education, implementation, and alignment with ministry leadership.

Qualifications

Education

Master’s degree in nursing or relevant health care field (such as MBA, MHA, education/training, or other clinical specialty) is required.

achelor’s degree in Nursing is required.

Experience

5 years of nursing clinical practice experience in acute care is required.

3 years experience as a nursing clinical educator is required.

3 years in a clinical nursing leadership role is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 3 months of hire date.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.

Nursing Professional Development (NPD) certification is preferred.
