Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

$33.090 - $42.697 - $52.303

The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position.

The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.

What You Will Do

The Labor Relations Analyst, under the direction of the Director/Manager of Sharp Labor Relations, uses professional labor relations concepts and applies organization policies and procedures to perform a wide variety of job functions to assist the Labor Relations (LR) Team and facilitate union relations for the Sharp enterprise. This position is responsible for all phone, email and electronic case management (ECM) intake and management, including issuing acknowledgment communications to various unions and legal/administrative agencies. This position is responsible for scheduling meetings among necessary stakeholders while adhering to union/legal deadlines. This position will be expected to independently answer low-to-moderate complexity questions regarding union contract obligations as well as track and/or facilitate union business leave (UBL) requests for employee representatives for union business leave and/or attending grievances/hearings. This position will also be responsible for intake and processing of union grievances and RFIs and working with other LR/HR/entity professionals to collect data and/or prepare analytic reports. Report creation includes but is not limited to LR unit metrics, Sharp employee data sets for union and/or DOL reports, etc.

Required Qualifications

2 Years progressive Human Resources or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) - HR Certification Institute -PREFERRED

SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) - Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) -PREFERRED

Other Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree; or 4 years related experience in a complex HR environment, preferably in a Healthcare setting. - Required

Essential Functions

Daily OperationsExercises independent judgment within defined guidelines in order to provide administrative and analytic support to the LR unit.Manage all phone, email and electronic case management (ECM) intake and management, including issuing acknowledgment/follow-up communications to various unions and legal/administrative agencies.Answer low-to-moderate complexity questions regarding union contract obligations as well as track and/or facilitate union business leave (UBL) requests for employee representatives for union business leave and/or attending grievances/hearings. Intake and process union grievances and low-complexity RFIs and working with other LR/HR/entity professionals to collect data and/or prepare analytic reports. Report creation includes but is not limited to LR unit metrics, Sharp employee data sets for union and/or DOL reports, etc. Analyzes LR unit data to identify meaningful trends and distills complex information into key insights and creative solutions; this includes contributing to the creation and maintenance of a Sharp 'LR Wiki' for FAQs.Prepare, send, and track union notices and maintain analytic reporting capabilities in this function.

Department SupportGeneral administrative unit management including but not limited to: maintain supplies and equipment; package sending/receiving; assist with travel coordination and reimbursement; assist with submission of invoices for payment as needed; manage conference room and hoteling office calendars as needed.Provide administrative support to the LR Specialists/Advocates including but not limited to scheduling grievance meetings/arbitrations/hearings as well as gathering and organizing information/data in preparation for the above, coordination of printing and distribution of training materials in support of labor education. Supports the Sharp organization and all entities during labor actions.Other duties as assigned.
