Maintenance Supervisor - 13-12 Beach Channel Dr

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise assigned maintenance staff. Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of facility. Oversee Maintenance Workers and, when needed, perform repairs requiring skills such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical. Responsible for assisting the Facility Manager with preventative maintenance of boiler/domestic hot water system, conducting periodic maintenance and inspection of elevators, sprinkler systems, fire alarm system and fire extinguishers. Arrange for and oversee outside contractors as directed. Responsible for ensuring the delivery of fuel. Receive and store deliveries of maintenance/office supplies. Lifting of boxes and moving furniture as needed. Be a member of the fire safety team. Participate in fire drills. On call for emergencies, this may require early and/or late hours. Related duties as assigned.
HOURS:
37.5 hours per week
Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
Five years' experience in building maintenance, experience in trades is helpful. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Ability to use independent discretion and judgment. Certificate of fitness for Fire Safety Director preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Valid driver's license required.
