My client is seeking a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading our quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes, implementing quality management systems, and ensuring adherence to ISO standards. They are AS9100 and ISO 9001 certifiedDescriptionThe responsibilities of the Quality Manager are:Quality Assurance & Compliance : Develop, implement, and manage quality management systems that meet or exceed regulatory and customer requirements, including ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards.Team Leadership : Lead, train, and mentor a team of quality engineers and inspectors, fostering a proactive, solutions-driven approach to quality issues.Process Improvement : Identify areas for improvement across production processes, utilizing root cause analysis and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Customer Interaction : Collaborate with customers to understand quality requirements and manage quality-related inquiries and issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.Supplier Quality Management : Evaluate and qualify suppliers and contractors, maintain quality agreements, and ensure supplier performance meets quality standards.Internal Audits : Lead internal quality audits and support external audits as necessary, ensuring all quality management processes are in compliance with applicable standards.Documentation & Reporting : Oversee documentation related to quality processes, including inspection results, defect rates, and corrective actions; present findings and reports to senior leadership.ProfileThe successful Quality Manager will have:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a quality role, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory position.In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent quality management standards.Strong knowledge of CMM ExperienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to quality management.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers.Job OfferMy client can offer the following for the Quality Manager:Competitive Base SalaryStrong Bonus PotentialFlexible spending accountHealth savings accountOpportunity to lead a Quality Department, reporting to Site ManagerMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
