About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager

In this role, you will:

Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross functional, with broad impact, and act as a key participant in overseeing lending activities for a wholesale banking business and geographic market

Review and research complex multifaceted, large scale, and long term business challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead the broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Lead projects and teams or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

5+ years of portfolio management and underwriting experience specific to Commercial & Industrial and/or Investor Real Estate credit requests

Strong analytical skills and ability to perform in depth analysis of commercial financial statements and complex data

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including using Excel for financial analysis and projection modeling

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present to decision makers and customers in a professional and confident manner

Experience negotiating loan documentation and working with attorneys and loan administrators on closing transactions

Strong risk management and compliance skills and demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize workflow and multi-task effectively.

Previous experience using Blast, CreditView or Ncino

BA / BS degree or higher in related field

Job Expectations:

Ability to work a hybrid work schedule

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$122,200.00 - $237,100.00
