Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Palo Alto, CA, EverCharge operates a factory in Hayward, CA, which supplies EVSEs for its customers across North America.Our Electrical Foreman:Will be licensed in the state of California and pride themselves on having a strong work ethic and producing quality work to join our field ops installation team. If you are qualified and customer-focused, exude positive energy and attitude and are looking to grow and develop alongside an industry-leading company in the EV space, please read on!Responsibilities:Guiding small team growing Apprentices and/or Journeyman in executing quality installations of EV charging solutions for multi-dwelling high rises and commercial fleets;Serve as a positive liaise between field team and all other departmentsReading, interpreting and communicating blue prints to ensure all team members have a clear understanding of the work to be performed; reading and creating load calculations and SLD; marking maps with conduit run and electrical equipment;Installing 3 phase electrical panels, making determinations of wire size and voltage drop calculations with accuracy and in accordance with EverCharge, NEC guidelines and in strict compliance with OSHA standards; Performing load studies and/or site readiness surveys, occasionally; Ensuring that all work is performed neatly, is plumb, level, and square and that all installations performed are NEC compliant/local code compliant;Following all OSHA and company safety standards; demonstrates a high regard for safe work practices, always;Keeping an eye out for safety hazards and communicating all safety concerns and/or unsafe work practices or behaviors that may jeopardize safety to your Regional Foreman/Supervisor and/or the Field Operations Manager;Ensure preparedness each day: show up on time with a positive attitude, ready to put your best foot forward, and make sure you have everything you need before heading to the job site;Daily timekeeping requirements utilizing mobile app;Cleaning up work areas (including work vehicles);Jumping in to help others when needed;Helping to show new team members the ropes; provide support;Growing in skill and experience working in the EV space! Qualifications:State of California Electrical License8+ years of commercial, electrical experienceExperience supervising, guiding, and supporting teams of 4+Experience installing 3 phase electrical panels, ability to determine wire size and voltage drop calculations.Experience working with high amperage switchgear under 600V.Proficient in reading and creating load calculations and SLD.Ability to perform load studies and site readiness surveys.Strong knowledge of NEC and local codes.High level ability to determine panel and transformer placement.Ability to mark maps with conduit runs, and electrical equipment.Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues; perform add-on services.License/Other Requirements:Must have valid driver's license and pass criminal and MVR background checks (must have good driving record!)Job Title and Compensation:The base compensation range for this position is between $45.00 and $65.00 an hour, based on full-time employment.Actual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and work location.Our open positions are based on job competencies that are specific to each role.
