CACI has an immediate opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst (SLA) to support the USFFC Naval Forces Logistics (NFL) contract within Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, Pacific (NECCPAC) N41 activities located in San Diego, CA. The SLA will be responsible for assessing, identifying gaps in performance, providing analysis, and initiating solutions to resolve supply discrepancies. The SLA will make extensive use of R-Supply (Patriot) and Continuous Monitoring Program (CMP) to assist in training towards resolution processes. The SLA will also make extensive use of various Navy Logistics websites to analyze logistics data.
What You'll Get To Do:
The SLA will be responsible for providing R-Supply (Unit Level) assistance and training to Supply Department / Stock Control divisions at commands assigned to NECC. Customized training will be conducted over-the- shoulder, remotely via email or phone, or within a classroom setting. The visits will support pre-deployment preparations, Supply Management Inspections (SMI), Supply Management Assessments (SMA), Post-SMA Training events and/or specific topics as needed.
The SLA will monitor and update R-Supply (Unit Level) training curriculum and facilitate the conduct of R-Supply training seminars. The seminars will cover all aspects of R-Supply used by Logistic Specialist (LS) personnel within NECC.
Required Skills:
Must have a current DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline. As a substitute, eight years of “hands-on” experience in a combination of Navy automated supply/maintenance management may be utilized. Training related to the “degree substitute” provided at Navy schools is considered “hands on” experience.
In addition to any experience which is substituted for education, the SLA must have seven years to nine years (eight years is preferred) of experience in Navy automated supply, logistics, inventory management, financial management, and the functionality of the automated supply systems.
Must have extensive experience in automated supply management system NTCSS (R-Supply Unit Level) software from a Stock Control manager aspect to effectively analyze a wide array of file conditions.
Must have expert level knowledge with MS Office Suite products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with NECC Navy Supply and maintenance relationships, organizations, and management databases within NECC is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate would have experience obtained as a former U.S. Navy Chief/Senior Chief Logistics Specialist with tours within EOD or Coastal Riverine communities; or onboard FFG/DDG/CG class Navy ships.
Strong understanding of OMMS-NG configuration and ILS support processes (ASIs, ACRs, FCFBRs) to build relationships within R-Supply.
Possess exceptional verbal and writing skills to effectively prepare and conduct individual and group over the shoulder training as well as independently communicate as the NFL Team representative within NECCPAC leadership.
