Will assist the Construction Team, in projects of different size and types, from bidding to opening.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities:
As a part of the Sunrise team, supporting our Mission, Principles of Service and Core Values is a fundamental part of this job. Our foundational belief is the sacred value of human life. The unique responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the essential functions listed as follows:
Assist the Sunrise Construction Managers in overseeing the new development projects under construction.
Review the “Owner Reports” that come in from third-party owner representatives.
Prepare portfolio-wide reports from consultant and contractor materials, including graphic presentations and spreadsheet analysis.
Receive, save, track and distribute all project correspondence (ASIs, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, etc.). Maintain logs of such items as needed.
Help the Construction Managers with project phone calls, tracking progress of building permits, inspections, etc.
Follow up with architects and contractors on required tasks.
Assist in gathering project close-out documentation.
Provide general assistance with project files, reports, photos, and correspondence.
Assist in data collection and entry through established project management tools.
Create reports, tools and templates to support department processes and procedures.
Maintain compliance in assigned required training and all training required by state/province or other regulating authorities as applicable to this role to ensure that Sunrise standards are always met.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
2-3 years of related experience
Bachelor’s degree required, with concentration in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office, SharePoint and MS Teams.
Familiarity with Smartsheet, high desire to achieve proficiency
Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar a plus.
