JOB REQUIREMENTS: Talent Acquisition Specialist 7930 N Faulkner Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53224, USA Req #946 Tuesday, October 8, 2024 Job Summary: Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a dual role in developing and executing recruitment strategies for early career and experienced talent. The primary focus is handling the full recruitment life cycle for various positions across the organization, including manufacturing, professional, and managerial roles. Additionally, this role will focus on building and maintaining early career programs, including internships, apprenticeships, and other entry-level talent initiatives. The goal is to enhance the candidate experience while promoting the company\'s employer brand. Essential Functions: Manage the entire life cycle of recruiting, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, with minimal supervision. Develop strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent across manufacturing, professional, and managerial roles. Utilize proactive sourcing solutions such as direct sourcing, employee referrals, targeted advertising, social media, and networking. Build and execute recruitment strategies with a focus on diversity and inclusion, driving a diverse talent pool. Screen, interview, and present candidates to hiring managers, and assist in the decision-making process. Partner with schools, alumni groups, and community organizations to establish pipelines for both early career and experienced talent. Perform background checks, reference checks, and onboarding activities for all new hires. Develop, manage, and coordinate internship and apprenticeship programs across departments. Partner with hiring managers to understand early talent needs and implement recruitment initiatives. Handle the full-cycle recruitment process for interns and early talent, including screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. Build and organize activities and events for interns, enhancing their experience throughout the program. Serve as the primary point of contact for interns, hiring managers, and external partners like Cristo Rey program leaders. Monitor the progress of internship and apprenticeship programs through check-ins, performance reviews, and feedback collection. Attend and promote early career opportunities at career fairs, schools, and community events. Other Responsibilities: Maintain consistency across job descriptions and job postings. Conduct new employee check-ins (30-, 60-, and 90-day surveys) to ensure smooth onboarding and integration. Organize HR department events, celebrations, and lunches. Provide administrative support for other HR initiatives such as creating ID badges, nameplates, and quarterly newsletters. Analyze and summarize recruitment events to improve future processes.
