This role focuses on improving enrollment, retention, completion rates, and aligning services with institutional goals. The Director oversees enrollment/advising staff, develops/implements student success programs, and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & SupervisionManage and supervise advising and enrollment staff at multiple locations.Oversee professional development, performance, schedules, and timesheets.Develop policies to enhance academic persistence and retention.Ensure compliance with regulations and accreditation standards.Advising & Student SuccessOversee successful operations of "One-Stop" advising model, which includes providing student assistance with enrolling, financial aid, academic planning, transfer support, and student success.Ensure seamless communication between departments.Lead development of new student orientationStay updated on advising best practices, provide training, and integrate new approaches.Data & ReportingMonitor advising performance and student outcomes using KPIs.Provide regular reports and make data-driven adjustments to advising/enrollment programs.Maintain detailed student interaction records to ensure service quality.Outreach & CollaborationWork with Academics to develop and standardize best practices in advising and to foster seamless student transition between ES Advising and Departmental Advising.Work with Marketing, Public Relations, and New Student Relations & Community Engagement to increase enrollment.Partner with external organizations and institutions to support student success.Represent the department on committees and special projects.Rate of Pay $58,757 annualizedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of the organization and administration of various higher education academic and social programs.Knowledge of campus and community resources.Knowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to campus academic and social programs.Ability to coordinate the activities of campus academic and/or social programs.Ability to evaluate collected information and formulate into recommendations.Ability to compile information into report form.Physical Demands/Work EnvironmentThe following physical activities described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Primary work station will be Bentonville.QualificationsEducationMaster's degree in Higher Education, Counseling, or related field.Experience5+ years in advising or student success, with 3+ years in a leadership role.SkillsExpertise in student development, advising best practices, and retention strategies.Proficient in higher education systems (e.g., Workday, Banner).Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft SuitePreferred QualificationsExperience in a community college setting.Familiarity with HE accreditation standards and compliance.Bilingual or experience with diverse, non-traditional student populations.NWACC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, please see our EEO policy.
