Position summary: Responsible for helping to improve overall business performance and compliance for federal agency contracts, supporting the review and preparation of contract and proposal documents for a variety of procurement types (e.g., design build / design bid build, professional services), and support negotiations with government officials.
The annual salary range for this position is $94,776.00 - $150,000.00.

Essential functions and responsibilities
Lead contractual and subcontracting reporting requirements on key federal contracts such as, but not limited to, the Department of Defense and General Services Administration (GSA).
Lead reporting requirements for various GSA contract vehicles.
Track Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) past performance information and aid Project Managers with CPARS responses.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions, coordinate technical scopes of work including interface with all relevant project disciplines (project controls and project management, construction management, natural and cultural resources, engineering design, finance/accounting, and the customer).
Support development of bids and proposals through the analysis of federal RFPs, contract pre-award meetings and negotiations, and reviewing and finalizing contract award documents.
Supports Project Managers with negotiations and document control of contracts, contract modifications (post-award contract management), and other compliance activities including tracking invoicing.
Aid in improvement of overall firm’s contract management process, ensure timely issuance of contracts and maintain performance metrics.

Required Skills
Demonstrated effective communication skills with multidisciplinary set of peers, leadership team, prime and subcontractors, and customers.
Demonstrated effective organizational skills and time management.
Required Experience
8+ years of relevant work experience in federal contract administration.
U.S. Citizenship Required and experience with Government Contracts.
Direct experience with GSA contract reporting requirements and negotiations.
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other supplements.
Preferred Experience
Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year institution
Experience with General Services Administration (GSA) procurement policies.
Ability to be cleared to support intelligence agency contract management activities (e.g., Secret/Top Secret, Suitability Clearance).
Previous experience with an architecture, engineering, construction, or environmental firm.
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
Travel required only as deemed necessary.
