Physical Therapist Assistant

MedAdventures is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant in Tolland, CT

This is a 13-week assignment, with the possible ability to extend.

Responsibilities for the Physical Therapist:

Shift: 8hr Day

Assist Physical Therapists in providing physical therapy services to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

Implement and carry out prescribed treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, to help patients improve physical function and mobility

Productivity expectation is 60 visits/ week; Will see 12-14 patients/day.

Requirements for the Physical Therapist:

Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution

Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Connecticut or eligibility for state licensure

Proficiency in therapeutic techniques, modalities, and patient care procedures

Experience in outpatient physical therapy setting

Compensation and Schedule:

Minimum 36-40 hours/week, Monday- Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $38.62 - $40.33 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
