Responsibilities
Receive, load/unload and move materials within the plant in support of shipping requirements.
Distributes materials to various shipping stations to ensure adherence to shipping schedules.
Open containers, load/unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand.
Contributes to the orderly operation of inventory and/or materials storage area.
Identify and work with appropriate personnel when problems arise in regard to equipment, materials, inventory, documentation, invoice discrepancies, delivery or quality performance. Notify management of any critical situations.
Responsible for ensuring all material is organized and stored in its appropriate location.
Maintain safe and balanced work environment by following standards and aligning with company regulations.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
Ability to read, write and understand English.
Ability to analyze information.
Prioritize multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
Excellent Time Management.
Process improvement demeanor.
Knowledge RF scan guns
Ability to drive forklifts, order pickers and reach trucks.
Ability to interpret and support standards, policies and procedures established by nVent.
Education:
High School diploma / GED / GED, 1-3 years of direct experience is required.
