In this role, you will be scheduling, planning, and supervising the day-to-day operations of one or more production departments.Lead and develop assigned team to ensure On Time Delivery (OTD) while maintaining quality standardsAssign production responsibilities, work plans, and schedules to ensure timely completion of productsConducts regular audits to ensure compliance with applicable Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS) procedures, identifying necessary changes in the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)Coordinate with various departments to meet schedules, budgets, and resolve issuesAssist in troubleshooting production process problems, minimizing costs and preventing delaysEnforce quality standards, monitor workmanship, and provide corrective action for issuesExecute manufacturing strategy, including Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and promote continuous improvementProvides input for the development of the business unit’s strategic plans to meet budget, product cost, productivity, inventory levels, delivery performance, quality objectives/expectations, and operational goals.Capable of developing expense budgets and headcount for the assigned departments and/or business unit.Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or related/relevant coursework or equivalent combination of education and experience7+ years management or equivalent leadership experience with direct, daily accountability and ownership of manufacturing processesProficient in computerized database management and presentation systems.Support strategic plans to meet cost, productivity, and quality objectives.Actively promote a healthy workforce and resource sustainability.WHY AVERRO?Averro
