OVERVIEW
The Low Voltage Utility Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of internet and telephone services (Low Voltage Utilities) across Sun Communities locations, and for the successful achievement of Suns low voltage objectives.
JOB DUTIES
Troubleshoots issues with low voltage utilities across multiple locations
Places orders for low voltage utilities across various Sun properties
Identifies and verifies installation locations for low voltage utilities with onsite team members and vendors
Coordinates onsite vendor installation of low voltage utilities with the construction team
Monitors low voltage utilities construction, installation and turn-ups to ensure services meet expectations and are completed successfully
Assists in keeping Suns managed services platform (MSP) up to date with low voltage utility information for all Sun locations
Implements emergency telephone services at Sun properties (Kings III)
Provides high-quality customer service experiences by communicating effectively with stakeholders and informing them of important information and dates
Works with ISPs and telecom companies to stay up to date with the latest service offerings and technologies
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Associates Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Preferred)
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Preferred)
1 year working in IT service delivery
1 year delivering internet and telephony services to clients
1 year troubleshooting and resolving internet and telephony service issues
Working knowledge of telephony components (VOIP/analog), technologies and programming
Working knowledge of Internet circuits and supporting components
Ability to collaborate with a team on effective processes
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Ability to respond to business needs after normal business hours.
Ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to travel by car or plane with overnight stays as required: 5-10%
