SCOPE OF WORK:TheIRC in Dallas has provided training and assistance to small businesses in theirpath to establishing themselves in the commercial landscape, in real life andonline. The Marketing Program will provide administrative and direct servicesupport to the program and its clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Basedon intern skills and experience, responsibilities may include a combination ofprogram support, administrative support, and direct service:Help our clients establish abuild a digital presence through social media, websites, google pages,etc.Help to promote and market IRCDallas events and webinars.Develop monthly newsletter of theorganization's clients and upcoming trainings.Create resources for theorganization and its clients, such as FAQ sheets and analysis of businessopportunities, through analyzing past program data and researching currenttrends and opportunities.A good understanding of socialmedia marketing techniques is desired. Social media require excellentwriting, communication and computer skills.Develop marketing and outreachmaterials, and collect success stories
Minimum Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in a relateddiscipline (business, marketing, publicity, communication) or outstandingcurrent undergraduate pursuing a relevant degree.Strong working knowledge ofAdobe, Photoshop and similar design software.Experience with bothadministrative work and direct service with diverse populations.Excellent organization skills,strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to effectivelycollaborateEnglish fluency required,proficiency in a refugee language (Arabic, Farsi, Swahili, Vietnamese,Spanish, Somali) a plusStrong working knowledge of MSOffice, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
