Employee Relations PartnerJob DescriptionThe Employee Relations Partner leads employee relations (ER) initiatives by executing complex and comprehensive ER functions in a consistent and reasonable manner relative to applicable policies, processes, and procedures as well as laws. Demonstrates excellence by driving business value, maximizing employee experience, promoting fairness in the organization, driving positive employee relations, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risk to the company. This position interfaces across the entire U.S. based employee population.
Principal accountabilities include:Provides consultation and support to the Human Resources function on Human Resources and Employee Relations topics including performance management, progressive discipline, and policy interpretationConducts workplace investigations and the resolution of complaints, ensuring investigations are conducted and written recommendations/findings are developed in an objective and thorough mannerInterpret and apply federal and state laws regarding equal access for people with disabilitiesReceive and process accommodation requestsProvide guidance to leadership regarding issues relating to disabilities and accommodationDevelops training and materials specific to investigations and other employment mattersDevelops and delivers training and materials for manager developmentManages data collection and communication process with vendor for AAP/EEO-1 Program ComplianceAdvises Human Resources team and managers in developing appropriate documentation to support the performance management processSupports communication and change efforts with HR, Legal, Managers, and Employees that support the vision and value of the Employee Relations COEAssists with the execution of HR compliance programs, internal audits and external auditsSelects materials to aid skill building for managersCollaborates with the Human Resources team to review and assist with the ongoing development, evaluation, and maintenance of documentation to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of internal processesAll other duties as assignedQualificationsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE6-8+ years of HR experience with 4+ years in Employee RelationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field strongly preferredMaster's degree in Human Resources or related field a plusSHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite as well as HRIS systems, preferably WorkdayCompetencies (Skills and Abilities)Proven ability to make sound decisions with limited data or in uncertain circumstancesExperience managing highly confidential information and complex situations with discretion and sensitivity is requiredMaintains an up-to-date understanding of company guidelines and relevant legislation to ensure a compliant working environmentComprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and trendsStrong problem-solving skills and a history of resolving confidential and sensitive situations and issues of a complex nature while providing flexible solutions.Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills requiredExcellent project management, organizing, and planning skills requiredAbility to partner effectively with individuals and groups of management and teammates to incorporate their ideas, adapt to their needs, and to encourage them to accept actions and decisions to implement Covetrus' best practicesSkill in facilitating conflict resolution by negotiating and resolving disputes including effective techniques to persuade and influence othersPHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive$53,300.00 - $99,100.00
