IT Asset Analyst - 12-month long contractLocation:
Novato, CA (On-site, M-F, 9am-6pm PT)What you will doResponsible for the day-to-day management of the enterprise technology assets. This role ensures that IT assets are properly inventoried, maintained, and disposed of according to established policies and procedures.Working in close coordination with the Asset Management team as well as our partners (e.g., ITSupport, Procurement), the IT Asset Analyst will build and inventory hardware assets, and support all aspects of the ITAM lifecycle, including inventory management, analysis, and reporting. The combination of attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to partner with technical partners allows this individual to ensure the efficient and effective use of IT assets.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReport to the IT Asset ManagerTrack, receive, recover, deploy, and retire technology assets in a controlled mannerMaintain detailed and accurate recordsMonitor inventory tracking and ticketing systemsInvolved in the purchase of new equipmentReviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracyImage computersCommunicate with users, management, and other team members to determine the nature ofprojects needs and issues to allow for effective asset deploymentPerforms on-site inventory audits at various times throughout the yearFollow written and verbal instructionsLift, carry and move computer equipment as requiredPerforms other related work as requiredWhat you bringEducation & Credentials:A college degree is preferred, or relevant experience.Appropriate technical certification(s) are preferred, but not required (e.g., ITIL v4, ITAM)Knowledge & Experience3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in an enterprise environment Demonstratedknowledge of an enterprise ITAM framework.Experience with ServiceNow or similar platform.Considerable knowledge of computer hardware.Strong working knowledge of fulfillment/distribution systems and processes, productivitystandards, and technology.Strong working knowledge of core technologies (including but not limited to): AD, MDMtechnologies, Windows and MacOS/iOS.Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook and query tools.Willingness to work flexible hours, non-business hours, or other scenarios required by theflow of operations.Ability to work independently with limited supervision with strong initiative and finishing skills.Ability to prioritize tasks to achieve deadlines in a changing environment.Ability to perform initial installations or upgrades of computer hardware.Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, O365, Google Workplace, SCCM, Jamf, AirWatchare plusesSome type of credentialing (MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA Network+) is a plusDemonstrated experience working in a time-sensitive, high-visibility environment.Experience working on projects and meeting deadlines.
