Job Title: Structural Fitter

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Fitter to work on columns, beams, and frames. This position requires expertise in fitting structural steel and stainless steel components, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in structural fitting and welding, with a strong understanding of structural integrity and safety.

Responsibilities

Fit and assemble structural steel components including columns, beams, and frames.

Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fitting and assembly.

Perform flux core welding on structural steel components.

Ensure all fittings and structures adhere to safety and quality standards.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications and standards.

Essential Skills

3-5 years of experience in structural fitting.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Strong knowledge of structural steel and stainless steel fitting.

Experience in flux core welding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Leadership qualities.

3 years of experience in structural welding.

Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in structural fitting.

Work Environment

This position is based in a large facility with both indoor and outdoor work environments. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. There is one opening for the 1st shift (5:00 AM - 5:30 PM) and one opening for the 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 4:30 AM) with a $1 shift differential.
