Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations (EO) is actively seeking an experienced information technology (IT) professional to support the Space business area classified program areas located in the Littleton, CO US office. Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: installing, configuring, securing, hardening, remediating, testing, troubleshooting, upgrading and decommissioning of network switches, virtual servers, physical servers, client workstations and network-attached storage equipment. Application support to program engineers is an essential part of the day-to-day responsibilities that ensures a successful synergy between program deliverables and the underlying IT infrastructure. The selected candidate will be responsible for the ongoing operations, maintenance and continuous improvement of multiple classified IT program environments. This IT professional will ensure that the Space IT systems are managed, controlled and compliant with the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Basic Qualifications:
• This position requires an active DOD Secret clearance (investigation within 5 years or a candidate on “continuous evaluation”)
• US Citizenship required for access to the work facility
• This position requires a current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security+, CASP, CISSP)
• Proven experience administering Microsoft’s Windows Server (i.e. 2012, 2016 or 2019) operating system functions, security policies and technical security safeguards
• Ability to move, rack, stack and install physical equipment by lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Previous Systems Administration background with experience supporting United States Government classified environments/networks
• Five (5) or more years of system administration and/or engineering experience with computer systems
• Experience with Windows Servers 2012R2/2016/2019
• Understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, DFS, WSUS and the ability to maintain other Windows core services
• Knowledge of various protocols such as DNS, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet and ssh protocols
• Comprehension of NTFS file share permissions.
• Fundamental understanding of authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos, LDAP and NTLM and use of necessary tools to troubleshoot them
• User account management, administration, access/controls and support
Installation and configuration of workstations and peripherals
Desired Skills:
- Direct knowledge of the CPS/HSWS Program
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting a plus.
- Understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy and WSUS
- Knowledge of various protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet and SSH protocols
- Experience with RHEL 6, 7 and/or 8 administration, configuration, security and troubleshooting
- Experience with High Performance Compute (HPC) systems
- Understanding of Certificate Authorities (CA) and Public Key Infrastructure
- Knowledge of ICD-503 compliance
- Proven experience developing and documenting standard operating procedures and infrastructure diagram

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
