to join our highly collaborative Product Team based in San Diego, CA.As an Associate User Experience Researcher, you'll have the chance to make a huge impact on the company's success, driving the qualitative and quantitative research that is the foundation for brand new products/features as well as product improvements. Responsibilities include defining research questions and opportunities, research methods, participant recruiting, survey/interview design, results synthesis, presentations.In addition, we hope that the UX Researcher will excel in facilitating group discussions and brainstorming sessions amongst team members and project stakeholders to ensure alignment.Generate actionable insights for product features, concepts and and communicate to diverse audiences through effective written documents and presentations.Job QualificationsBA/BS or master degree in an Engineering, Cognitive Science, or other data or research-centric field or equivalent practical experience.Experience conducting end-to-end user research studies: planning, recruitment, execution, analysis and delivery.Ability to translate product team requests and needs into researchable questions in a rigorous and valid way.Ability to reflect on what went well/not so well in each research project, embracing a growth mindset to help the team improve our processes and communication.An innate curiosity and drive to dig deep into (sometimes vague) research questions and problems to uncover new opportunities.A can do' spirit combined with high energy and a positive attitudeEffective written and verbal communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.Self-starter who doesn't hesitate to proactively approach in order to learn fast.What we offer:Salary: $50K - $70K annual salary, based on the experiences in user experience researcher (years of UX researcher experiences, qualitative and quantitative research experiences, survey design, etc)Medical benefits (medical, dental, vision)18 days of paid sick and vacation, plus 10 paid holidays per-yearFast-growing career potentialFun, upbeat, and collaborative office environmentIn-office gymTwo company-provided lunches each weekWork from home every Friday
