Assistant Director of Nursing

Pay Range: $85,300.00- $104,900.00Position SummaryThe Assistant Director of Nursing supports the Clinical Leadership team in achieving the community's vision and goals. They collaborate with the Director of Nursing and act in the Director's absence. Responsibilities include assessing resident care needs, developing relationships with team members, providing supervision and education, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.Essential DutiesManage nursing team and participate in quality assurance activitiesProvide education to team members and oversee infection control programEvaluate and supervise resident care, assist with staffing, and monitor delivery of careCoordinate educational programs for compliance with regulations and company policiesIntegrate wellness and person-centered programs and culture initiativesOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications & ExperienceRegistered Nurse with long-term care experienceBachelor of Science in Nursing preferred1-3 years LPN/RN experience and 1-3 years in a supervisory capacityExperience in educating and/or training adult learnersKnowledge of PPS, MDS, OBRA, and OSHA requirementsAdministrative experience and competence in relevant technologyExcellent customer service skillsWorking Conditions / Physical RequirementsLight physical effort required, intermittently sits, stands, and bendsSubject to frequent interruptions and interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently
