Overview:

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a part-time Human Resources Temp to join the Human Resources team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters. This assignment will run from November through beginning of January at 20 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide general administrative support to the Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations team

Own the initial onboarding system review for all new hires

Manage the general HR inbox, distributing emails to relevant team members and responding to general inquiries

Maintain the HR employee tracker

Terminations

Initiate the IT notification process

Distribute offboarding information

Follow-up on departure report submissions

New Hires

Follow-up on acknowledgment forms

Create and maintain digital employee-files

Send Welcome emails

Weekly global HRIS maintenance

Adding new hires

Removing Terms

Processing any change of status, promos, compensation changes that occurred in the prior week

Adding new departments/locations

Support any other ad hoc projects for the HR team as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree or equivalent related experience

Detail oriented and organized

Process and efficiency driven

Ability to take direction and operate independently, exercising discretion and confidentiality

Prior HRIS and/or HR admin experience a plus

SALARY:

The compensation for this position ranges from $24-25 per hour. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
