Mobile App Development Engineer

Job Description:We are seeking a creative problem solver to design, develop, and maintain SAAS OTT Video Mobile/TV applications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Develop innovative OTT Video Mobile/TV applications utilizing Android technologyCreate Apps with a framework of multiple UI templates and styles, accommodating multiple customers and brandsImplement cross-platform capability for Android/iOS/SmartTV(Tizen/WebOS)Develop a Plugin framework for adaptable componentsUndertake existing software products, understand current development, and conduct further advancementsStay updated on the latest mobile/TV application development trends and best practicesLead small developer agile teams and mentor junior engineersRequired qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of Java and Android SDKProficiency in Android technology development and RESTful APIsExperience with video players and DevOps/CI/CD tools like Git and JenkinsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and excellent English communication skillsPreferred qualifications:Experience working on SAAS platforms/products and live/vod video streaming platforms/productsProficiency with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and iOS Objective C or Swift/SwiftUIUnderstanding of various multimedia transport protocols and cryptographyKnowledge of Digital Rights Management Systems (DRM) such as Playready, Widevine & FairPlay
