Chassis and Suspension Design Release Engineer

Hello we are recruiting for a Chassis and Suspension Design Release Engineer to oversee full program lifecycle experience - concept to production - and work as DRE for the following components: chassis, wheels, tires, dampers, springs, bump stops, anti-roll bar, drop links, bushings/bearing, TPMS. Added knowledge of validation and testing above components on part /vehicle level.Please inquire ASAP to hear about this incredible opportunityKey ResponsibilitiesRelease parts for prototyping and production design.Use 3DExperience (or CATIA V6) to execute the following tasks: 2D drawings, 3D part design, 3D surfacing, motion studies, motion envelopesApply minimum number of controls to a component to achieve the component's requirements while abiding by GD&T standard ASME Y14.5 2018Spec'ing fasteners based on required clamp loads (Torque specs)Understand methods required for validating and characterizing tunable components (specifically dampers, springs, and bushings)Fill out DFMEA chart and eliminate or mitigate failure modesMathematically model spring/mass/dampening systems as they apply to dynamic handling of vehicle; do basic CAE analysis and interpret resultsRun ADAMs simulations (added advantage)Set up, use, and post-process data from an automotive grade DAQ systemNeed to support building activity and ability to resolve build issue
