GROWMARK FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada. * THIS IS A WORK FROM HOME POSITION THAT INCLUDES EXTENSIVE TRAVEL TO CENTRAL AND WESTERN PA AND NEW YORK * PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT * Responsible for the maintenance, support, training, and analysis of agronomy related technologies. This position provides administrative and operational support to management staff regarding technology used within the agronomy business (both internal and external). Provides day to day support to GFS location employees, programs, customers, and procedures to ensure efficient and profitable operations. * ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * * _ * Assists sales and operations staff with proper utilization of current technology platforms. This will include promoting customer facing platforms/tools (currently myFS Solution Center) and assisting customers as needed. Provides guidance and leadership to the location office staff to ensure consistent administration of policies and procedures. Makes use of technology driven processes with the organization to optimize efficiency and timeliness of data. Provides leadership and training for internal and external customers for the supported technology and management platforms. Collaborates with location personnel to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to our Agvance databases and mobile apps. Assist locations in preparing for monthly/quarterly/yearly inventory counts as needed. Assists the management team with sales reporting and data analysis. Runs and reviews reports on a regular basis to assist both sales and management staff. Works with other management personnel in administrative and operational policies and procedures. Works with IT development staff to make software and hardware improvement recommendations to ensure ease of doing digital business without internal and external customers. Oversees customer service standards and ensures consistency in treatment and follow-up to all customers when necessary. Evaluates and recommends optional and required training for GFS personnel. * _OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS * Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaborative efforts. Assists with training needs within the locations. Assists in supporting marketing programs, business processes and analysis as needed. Assists in the evaluation of new software and services available to end users in conjunction with local and corporate IT personnel. Assists with credit management and FS AgriFinance procedures as necessary. Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. * REQUIREMENTS * Normally requires an associate degree or the equivalent thereof, and 3 years of experience in accounting, or previous experience in a leadership or management capacity to demonstrate knowledge of business analytics and advanced knowledge within areas of finance including statements, analysis, forecasting, capital markets, ratio analysis, and budgeting. Prefer an understanding of the GROWMARK System including the Divisions’ operations and the Agvance platform. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Must be able to travel to locations /extensively/, independently, and overnight. Must be willing to work hours beyond those considered “normal.” Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
