DescriptionJob Summary:The Director of Collaboration & Delivery is responsible for establishing, engaging, and cultivating European standardization communities. In this role, the ideal candidate will serve as the key relationship and delivery point of contact on strategic engagements, mobilize efforts that encourage increased engagement in IEEE standardization and its support.
The role will develop ecosystems and mobilize communities that emphasize standardization deliverables that support regional and global market-driven outcomes.
Key deliverables:
· On behalf of IEEE SA, serve as key point of contact with National Standards Bodies, National Test Labs and Regional organizations.
· Build upon existing and extend engagement of new communities in standardization projects.
· Actively identify and mobilize efforts that contribute to the IEEE Standards ecosystem and stakeholders.
· Identify opportunities to support regional goals through the IEEE Standardization Platform.
· Work with partners to design and develop scalable outcomes that positively impact the region and world.
· Raise awareness of IEEE offerings that may support local, regional, or global initiatives.
· Partner across IEEE SA and its ecosystem to identify and activate results that may support all standardization actors.
· Organize and lead local strategic initiatives including IEEE SA Governance meetings as pursued regionally.
· Raise visibility around impact-oriented efforts.
· Support IEEE outreach and engagements as needed.
· Provide market feedback and identify marketplace innovations to support regional strategies.
· Help define and execute strategic aims to drive membership and engagement.
· Identify mechanisms to subsidize or sponsor outcomes that contribute towards sustainable and scalable models.

QualificationsEducation
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Field of relevancy (example: Business, Technology, Policy) ReqMaster's or other advanced degree Field of relevancy (example: Business, Technology, Policy) Pref
Work Experience
10-15 years Experienced in engaging with key market influencers (examples include: CxOs at large and mid-sized companies, NGO Leadership & influencers, Policy makers, Regulators, SDOs/SSOs) demonstrated results in managing significant engagement initiatives/programs in technology-focused organization or industry, including in external-facing roles managing the needs and desires of diverse constituencies Req10-15 years Demonstrated experience with varied business functions, notably project and program management, strategy development, budget management and global affairs/public policy Req10-15 years Demonstrated experience working in a diverse, global environment comprised of a multitude of stakeholders and experience working with or within a decentralized organization Req
