Our team of Network Technicians care about technology and connecting customers to products they value. Through providing technical expertise and customer support, our Network Technicians create meaningful connections with customers that create long-term relationships.What You’ll Do:Performs routine installation, maintenance, and repair activities for network systems including voice, data, network, transport, and video equipmentPresents and conducts self in a professional manner, while promoting a positive company image to the publicCompletes post installation tests for call processing functionality.Performs monthly routine maintenance tasks. Coordinates central office translations activities.Do You Have?Basic understanding of telecommunications voice and data networksKnowledge of computer hardware, software, components, and applicationsAbility to distinguish colors in use of color-coded cableAbility to work outside in all weather conditions and use equipment with maximum load capacity of 275 lbs.Capability of working aloft, climbing, bending, pulling, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 50 lbs.A valid drivers license and safe driving recordEven Better:Effective communication and customer service skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsBasic math and PC skillsMust successfully complete required safety trainingAbility to work assigned schedules and extended hours including day, evening, weekend, and holiday hoursAbility to respond to after hour call-outsMinimum Requirements:Associates degree in a technical discipline and 4-6 years technical/telephony experience with 4+ years directly related to the job; or 6+ years of directly related telephony or network operations experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience required.
