The AppleCare Global Vendor Strategy (GVS) team is seeking an experienced and dynamic Implementation Project Manager (IPM) to lead and implement the global strategic changes within our Supplier portfolio. The IPM collaborates closely with the regional Direction & Planning teams to implement various project categories that significantly impact our current and future Supplier network. Implementations are intricate and necessitate collaboration with numerous key stakeholders of AppleCare’s business, and other relevant organizations within Apple. The IPM, while relying on support from other groups, has overall responsibility for the Supplier-side programs and sites until the project’s completion and subsequent handover to the designated sustaining organizations.
Description
The ideal candidate for the IPM position will be responsible for ensuring the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of a project. This role requires a strategic thinker, a willingness to get deep into the details, exceptional interpersonal skills, a proven track record in project management, and experience in supplier management, either within or outside of Apple. The candidate will proactively manage risks by identifying potential challenges and developing contingency plans to mitigate them, lead project change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to stakeholders. Effectively communicate project expectations, updates, and risks to stakeholders at multiple levels, ensuring alignment and timely feedback. As an IPM, the candidate will oversee complex implementation projects involving extensive partner engagement, both internally and externally. They will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, each with numerous work streams, and cultivating strong relationships with supplier project management contacts.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
5+ years experience in managing complex projects and change initiatives, and well as a base understanding of PMP concepts
Excellent oral & written communication skills and ability to navigate at multiple levels of engagement including senior level audience
Able to cut through ambiguity and focus on what’s critical to drive what truly matters
Solid understanding of contact center operations and infrastructure
Able to travel approximately 1-2 times per quarter, sometimes more

Experience in technical support or customer care contact center operations.
Experience using influencing skills and working with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work well with business owners to understand business needs and objectives
Ability to work autonomously, and to collaborate optimally with a peer group
PMP Certification a plus

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $120,500 and $181,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
