We are currently bidding on a contract providing IT and Cyber Security services for the IT Division within the NSWC Corona Division, Corporate Operations Department, supporting the Command Information Office, Information Technology Operations, Information Management Customer Services and Cyber Security.
This opportunity is contingent upon a successful contract award to Oneida Technical Solutions.
We will be seeking a Database Administrator II.
The person in this role
Administrates organization's database, using database management system to organize and store data.
Ascertains user requirements, creates computer databases, and tests and coordinates changes.
Interacts with development and end-user personnel to determine application data access requirements, transaction rates, volume analysis, and other pertinent data required to develop and maintain integrated databases.
Ensures performance of database.
Administers, tests, and implements computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
Coordinates changes to computer databases.
Plans, coordinates, and implements security measures to safeguard computer databases.
Maintains databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
3 years of professional experience administering, testing, and implementing computer databases
Secret clearance
