Salary: $50,027-$58,370
This is a competitive position. Must meet the requirements of the Ontario County Civil Service. This position will be filled from an eligible list at Ontario County Civil Service.

Job Qualifications
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma plus EITHER: (A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Orientation and Mobility; OR, (B) Possession of a valid certification as a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) from the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP), or a National Orientation and Mobility Certification (NOMC) from the National Blindness Professional Certification Board (NBPCB)*. *Must submit copy of certification at the time of application. Candidates must have a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State to meet the transportation needs of the position. Orientation and Mobility Specialist will work in collaboration with students, families, TVI's and educational team to meet the Orientation and Mobility needs of K-12 students in programs within the Wayne Finger Lakes area.
