We're looking for a Manager of Accounting to join our ever-evolving Finance team to support a newly established team within Finance. The role will be responsible for building out in depth analysis, assessing financial performance, and establishing a robust framework to communicate our growth to investors and lenders. As we move at pace, they keep us on track for reaching our shared goals. What you'll own Lead and develop a team in the Corporate Accounting department including approving journal entries, reviewing account reconciliations and providing guidance to the team you oversee. This role will have the unique opportunity to build their team including the hiring, developing the processes and having inputs in the ERP configuration. This role will also be part of the project team to help roll out new processes and the transition off TSAs from our old owners (FIS) to Worldpay. Provide support in standing up a new Corporate Accounting team. Participate in Oracle design sessions and take and publish notes/key actions. * Develops, leads, manages and motivates staff to help achieve controllership and corporate goals. Approve journal entries and reconciliations of your team to ensure the accuracy of the income statements and balance sheet. Provide leadership and guidance to staff and work with the People Office on any issues that may arise. Mentor and provide feedback to employees around goal development and achievement. Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency. Manage the close process for the corporate functions and identify process improvement opportunities that can accelerate the speed and accuracy of the close cycle. Provide audit support for internal and external audits and ensure that controls are in place and are effective. Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies. * Participates in annual audits, and special projects. Analyzes the financial statements and provides concise explanations for variances. Research period over period variances in expense and provides logical explanations for fluctuations. Assists internal clients by providing information required to file tax returns, prepare. insurance documentation and any other required information pertaining to the entity. Other related duties assigned as needed.
