Program Coordinator

Location: Des Moines, IA

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay-rate: $35.00 / hour

Duration: Temporary

Must be available to work in the office. No remote work is offered

Program Coordinator Job Duties:

Develop procurement review procedures.

Coordinate and conduct assigned reviews ensuring completion of procurement review tool with school food authorities (SFAs) participating in the USDA Child Nutrition Programs.

Develop process for receiving and reviewing vendor paid lists.

Review vendor paid lists following federal requirements.

Provide technical assistance to SFAs regarding procurement methods and written procurement plan.

Conduct data analytics.

Prepare written reports.

Research and respond to inquiries.

Assist with application approvals.

Program Coordinator Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree

Three years of experience in program coordination/management

Strong attention to detail.

Proficiency with office software applications, e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, and ability to learn other custom software applications including web-based systems, and nutrient analysis.

Ability to keep multiple projects moving forward at the same time while meeting deadlines.
