Job BriefThis is an exciting opportunity to join a company during a growth phase. This position is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Works primarily from a help desk application but will run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, resolve technical issues, and determine and implement solutions. Must have exceptional customer service.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.Respond to end-user problems over the phone.Write/update technical documents related to help desk duties.Train computer users.Maintain daily performance of computer systems.Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.Resolve Tier 1 technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.Install computer peripherals for users.Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved.Escalate issues to designated tier 2 staff as necessary.Requirements
Military VeteranNo felonies or class A misdemeanorsClean record to include zero no felonies or Class A or B misdemeanors (those are permanent disqualifications to support our Police Department client base).Prior IT experience in desktop support and server administration is a must, we are looking for a candidate that can hit the ground runningQualified candidates ideally would be located already in the North Houston area to include the Woodlands, Conroe or even Humble\#ZR
