JOB SUMMARYResponsible for creating and delivering policies and programs in the areas of recruitment, employment, employee relations, and equal opportunity employment in compliance with government regulations and company goals. Works with leadership to ensure Human Resources strategies and initiatives are in alignment with all short- and long-term business goals for the designated client group as well as the enterprise-wide guidelines. Combines HR mastery, industry knowledge, and business acumen to resolve complex HR issues within a fast paced and dynamic business environment. Responsible for support of a geographically dispersed employee base within the designated client group. Create, implement and enhance consistent practices to ensure stable service delivery that is aligned with company initiatives and enterprise-wide policies and procedures.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork with senior leadership to develop and promote the human resources strategies for the assigned organizationDevelop strong working relationships at all levels of the organization and consults with people leaders to ensure consistent and fair resolution of employee issues/concernsMaintain credibility with management throughout the organization by serving as an effective listener and problem solver of people related issuesPartner with senior leadership in order to understand the business challenges and to ensure effective and timely HR supportTranslate organizational strategic business objectives into supporting HR strategy and accompanying action plans for flawless executionEvaluate and advise on the impact of new programs/strategies and regulatory actions as they affect recruiting, motivation, development, retention and performance of our employees in the designated client groupAnalyze and evaluate the retention, performance and workforce productivity of the employee base identifying root cause and making recommendations for improvementManage recruiting and employee relations at the designated client group, including review and approval of hires and terminations and skip level corrective actionsFacilitate and support performance management, merit planning and employee surveys within the enterprise-wide framework and processPartner with HR leadership and provide input in development of enterprise-wide HR programs and policies that support the needs of assigned business unit.Ensure adherence and compliance with enterprise-wide HR policies, procedures, programs and guidelines.Ensure compliance with all applicable local state and federal employment laws, including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA and ADAAA to minimize risk/exposure to the company and coordinate all required compliance activities in partnership with Legal DepartmentHire, train and manage performance and development of direct reports and assist, as necessary, with the selection of supporting HR professionalsParticipate in budget and forecasting planning and manage departmental expenses for the designated client groupPerform other duties as requestedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs and expectationsStrong business planning and forecasting skillsAbility to focus on overall strategyAbility to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward mannerAbility to communicate effectively with executive management and company personnelAbility to effectively delegate and develop team membersAbility to effectively plan/manage/lead projectsAbility to supervise the work of othersAbility to mentor, develop and motivate team members to the success of the department and business.Ability to deal with the public in a professional mannerAbility to maintain confidentiality of informationAbility to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressureStrong PC skills and MS Office skillsAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job dutiesAbility to work independentlyBusiness AcumenDemonstrated negotiating skillsAbility to analyze and interpret data in order to build a business caseExpert knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and proceduresExpert knowledge of recruitment trends and technologiesExpert knowledge of wage and hour lawsExpert project management skillsDemonstrated communication skills including public speakingExpert knowledge of staffing and employment practicesExpert knowledge of employee relation's procedures and applicable lawKnowledge of broadband services industry/subscription based business model

Required EducationBachelor's Degree in human resources, business, or organizational behavior or related field

Required Related Work Experience and Number of YearsHuman Resources Generalist experience, ideally in a multi-location environment with a large employee base - 10+management experience - 7+PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

The base pay for this position generally is between

$138,800.00 and $246,400.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
